Near North Montessori School (NNMS) created a state-of-the-art building addition to house a space for innovation, creative learning, meeting, and gathering. This expansion allows NNMS students to engage with STEAM learning in new, expansive, and creative ways, including use of the new rooftop farmassori for urban agriculture and beekeeping. The addition also created a new central hub with a secure building entrance and a spacious lobby serving the entire school campus. The rebuilt elevator and added stair tower in the new hub unifies the building by connecting to all floor elevations in the original building, prior additions and the new addition.
